Silent Hill 2 CONSERVING AMMO Cheat Code
Throughout The Game, We Are Presented With Many Weapons. Among Them Are Firearms, Which Are Fun To Use, But If You Are Flippant About Conserving Ammo, You Won't Have It When You Need It.

Using The Pipe: If You Practice With This, You Will See That There Are Three Attacks You Can Use. There's The Overhead Power Attack, The Thrust, And The Baseball Swing. If You Can Manage To Master The Thrust, It Can Carry You The Distance Of The Game. Occasionally, It's Wise To Pull Your Shotty And Clear The Room, But For Individual Monsters, You Can Keep Your Distance From Them And Use The Greater Range Of The Thrust. Usually, Three Thrusts Consecutively Will Drop A Lesser Baddie, After Which You Can Do A Tapdance On Its Head.

Nailboard: The Range On This Isn't Too Good, But You Can Use It Running, Which Is A Spectacular Advantage. Practice Making What I Like To Call The Ole Attack, Where You Are The Bull, And You Always Win. Take Aim On A Baddie While Running, And Right Before You Get There, Hit The Attack. At The Same Time, Make Sure You Aren't Pressing The Left/right Directional Control. You'll Find That As You Keep Running, You Keep Turning Around Automatically For Another Attack. Another Way Is To Run Around Them Like You're Circling A Dime. I Find This Very Effective.

In The End, You'll Have Enough Pistol Ammo To Drop All The Bigger Beasties.

Walk Up To The Door And By Pressing L2 You Should Focus On A Door Release. A Code Is Needed But Not Supplied. Dodge The First Few Swing Attacks By Running Back And Forth. When He Goes For An Overhead Attack, Move In To The Side And Chainsaw The Hell Out Of Him, Using The Thrust. It Will Slow Him Down Considerably. When He Immediately Goes For Another Overhead Attack, Do The Same, And He'll Go Away Early.

The First Time That You Come Face To Face With This Guy You'll Know Why His Nickname Is The Butcher. He Has A Cleaver For His Tail And Boy Is It Powerful. In The First Fight, All You Need To Do Is Dodge His Attacks And Heal, If Needed, Until An Alarm Sounds And He'll Retreat. Don't Follow Him As He'll Fillet You. Wait For A Moment Or Even Retreat To The Save Point And Then Go Down Into Where Ph Went And Go Through The Door.

In The Hospital If You Use The Elevator To Go Down After Using The Gold Ring You'll Get To Hear The Trick Or Treat Gameshow. The Answers At Normal Are 313. This May Change At Difrent Riddle Settings.

Also Save Before Opening The Box, And Do Not Save After If Youve Messed Up.( Just Hold R1,R2,L1,L2,select,and Start And Game Will Reset) If You Put The Answers In wrong You Will Be Gassed And Any Other Attempt To Open Box Will Fail. If You Get It Right You'll Recieve The Biggest Stock Pile Of Health And Ammo I've Found In Game. Just Keep Searching Till It Says Box Is Empty. I Also Recommend You Save Shotgun Ammo For Bosses Until U Get The Rifle And Use That Only On The Bosses. Every One Wants To Use The Best Wepon But Its Overkill On The Low Level Enemies And Fighting The Bosses With A Stick Or The Pea Shooter(pistol)is Not Smart Strategy.
