If you are tired of going through a whole tournament for one car, to find that you don't even win the car - just something you don't want or need, then the solution is quite simple.

When you finish the race just before the last race, save before you go to the beginning menu of the next race.

This way, if you dont get what you want, you can reset and try again without having to go through the whole tournament.

Then pick any car you want just as long as it can get through a gear in about 3-4 seconds ( over 300 hp)and can run a little over the redline. When the red light comes up to shift, keep accelerating, and when its at its highest, quickly press triangle and then x. If you don't do it fast enough, your car wont change gears, and you have to do it again. If its done right, it sounds like a realistic shift (the rev drops slowly)

You must have 2 memory cards and save your main game on your first card then sell all your cars to get max money and buy the car you want and fully upgrade it however you want. Then save to the 2nd memory card, go back to the main screen and load up your first save and goto trade in simulation mode and buy the car from the 2nd memory card. Then you will only spend the base price for the car. I did this cheat and now im winning all my races for just 15k-100k on cars and the cars are worth 150k+

First, buy the car of your choice. Race in the beginner leauges (Sunday Cup, Super Speedway) until you get about 5000 credits. Use this to tune up your car. I reccomend these parts: Racing Flywheel, Triple Plate Clutch, Carbon\Driveshaft, and the first NA or Turbo tune-up. Now you can blow away your competion. Now race all the races in the Sunday Cup. If you get first in all the races, you win a car. Sell this car. Try to win as many cars in other Championships or Cups as you can until you get 35,000 credits. Now go and buy a Lancer Evolution car (the last one). Now spend every credit you make on tuning that car. Again, I reccomend the driveshaft, triple plate clutch, and racing flywheel. Now you need to obtain your IA license. I understand this may take some time, but keep trying, it is well worth it. After you have obtained the IA license go to "Endurance Races" and enter the Super Speedway race with your Lancer Evolution. The entire race should take about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Don't worry, if you have tuned your car good enough you should blow them away. But DO NOT ever pit no matter how bad your tires look. If you pit, it may lose you the race. If needed you can pause and take breaks. When you win the race, you will recieve 200,000 credits. On the screen at the end of the race, hit exit. This is the important part. There will be a circle at the bottom of the cars that will cycle thru the cars. When the circle lands on the F1 looking car, hit X. If it doesen't immediately pick it, wait for it to go under it again and press X again. Now you should have 200,000 credits and a F905/s.

Complete the Rally licences or buy a Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak Version. Kit it up and then go to the endurance races. Select the Super Speedway 100 lap challenge. Now here comes the cool bit...

Get yourself an ordinary medium-sized elastic band and a small piece of sellotape, and maybe a medium-weight weight. Sellotape down the X button (Accelerator) and position the elastic band so that the steering analog stick is stuck towards !**THE RIGHT**! Commence the race and just leave the Suzuki to do it's stuff. Just put the weight onto the X button...

When you have won, you'll get 200,000 credits and a cool car. Just try not to get the Tickford, and press X on the car with the front spoiler. You should get an Indycar or Formula 1 Polyphony 001 or 002 race car. And they rule!!

When doing the super speedway endurance race, don't enter the pit stop ever, just turn at a lower speed when your tires get red. You'll always be in first place, cause the cars will eventually go to the pit stop.

If you change the gear ratio from sports to wide, and then go look around for the downforce, change it, make all the weight in the back and none in the front, then test it out, you'll get to speeds over 600, I've gotten it up to 839mph.

OK, this is what i found out...

I was playing A-Spec, and am at 62 % of completion.
In the shop i found a cheap GT Concept Game, so i bought it. STarted racing, wich was easy cause A-Spec is a little more tougher.

As i was racing the Concept game, finished the licences, and the Single races on Normal level.
I won a car, and here comes the most beautifull part.... I won 10.000.000 cr for the GT3 A-Spec game.

All you need to do is as i described above.
Go to 'game status' select the present boxm at the bottom of the screen, it will ask you is you want to save transfer you price to GT3 A-spec save game.
Doing tis will make you a rich man in GranTurismo 3 A-spec.

I thought you might want to try this.

-Zoom In And In
At the car select screen you can hold the R1 button to zoom
in on the available car. If you hold R1 + R2 you will zoom
in even further. This will demonstrate the amazing ability
of the PS2 to "push" graphics. You can find the GT3 demo at
your local Video Game retailer (should they be lucky enough
to get it). For those of you who do not have access to the
demo never fear I've included a couple of pictures.

-Free upgrades:
This is not a cheat but a way to make the game a little bit
easier. If you and a friend are both playing GT3 then split
the cars you buy, one buys a FF car and one buys a FR car,
then upgrade them to the max and go to the trade section in
your garage area. The cars trade for the purchase price but
you get all of the upgrades done to the car for free.

Downforce 1.08rear 0.45front. Gears left all the way. Auto Setting 48. Go to Seattle Circuit II and break through the wall at the end of the straight at an angle.

This is a great way to have a bit of fun round the boring test track... You need a good bit of money for this. Buy a Nissan Silvia (Spec Aero is the one I used) for around 25'000. Now tune it with every available mod. Get super slick / hard racing tyres for less grip. Once you have kitted it out, go to "My Home" and choose "Run & Settings". Get into your Nissan Silvia and choose the test track. Now you have the mods, you need to adjust the cars settings.

Spring rate: (Front and Rear) 4.0 KGF/mm
Ride Height: Adjustment: Front - 90mm Rear - 95mm
Damper Bound: (Front and Rear) Level 10
Damper Rebound: (Front and Rear) Level 10

Now that the settings are correct you can go and drift the car round the embankments. Approach the corner at a good speed and slightly turn the car to the left and hold the handbrake. Depending on how much speed you were carrying in to the corner, you will probably have to hold opposite lock for the whole drift.

If you're still wondering whether these rumored supercars exist in Gran Turismo 3, I'll tell you my personal experiences with the game. I completed Gran Turismo 3 100% without a GameShark (don't want to spend the money). Keep in mind that this does not include the license tests. These tests do not affect completion percentage, although if you're a skilled driver, you can probably get all golds in about an hour, and the Miata (I think LS) can give you an early jump start in the game.

Rumor #1: THE ROCKET CAR. Who wouldn't want to have a car that goes 400 mph and shoots cool flames out the back? Sadly, this is a very bad lie. The rumor is that if you get all golds on Beginner, Amateur, and Professional, you will be awarded a Rocket Car. Well, after 6 months or so, I finally did it. No Rocket Car! Sorry, ladies and gentlemen, it just doesn't exist.

Rumor #2: The Formula 1 cars. Call them what you want--these are the open-wheeled super-light cars you see on TV. These aren't easy to get, although it's possible to get very lucky. The quickest way to get one seems to be the Super Speedway Endurance. Yes, they do exist, and I have 14 of them. There are 7 different models: F686m, F687/s, F090/s, F094/S, F094/H, and for the life of me I can't remember the last two.

The basic idea of these cars: they can turn faster and accelerate quicker than anything else in the game. Keep in mind that they do NOT have great top end speed: I don't think I've ever broken 235, even in someone's slipstream.

Without maxing downforce, the F094/S is the best Indy Car. Max it out, and the F686m pulls out on top, because it has nearly a thousand horsepower. I ran a Super Speedway lap in 24.5 in this car! These 7 are the only cars in which you can see the driver. In every endurance race, there is one of these in the prize wheel. Patience is a virtue...

On to other rumors: there is no Ferrari Enzo. There is no Lamborghini Diablo or ANY motorcycles. If you're still a doubter, go to the credits page. Where they give credit to the auto manufacturers, do you see Lamborghini or Ferrari? Neither do I.

One last thing: you know that race with a question mark on it in Professional? It is revealed when you acquire your Super License. Avert your eyes if you want to figure it out yourself. This race is a formula 1 challenge. Every opponent is another F1. Don't even think about this if you don't have a formula 1 racer--I don't think it's possible to do this with another car. And MAKE SURE you max out your downforce. The reward is--SURPRISE! Another Formula one. But you will get one if you win the series, because there are four F1's on the wheel. Be sure to tell your friends about these rumors and facts.

Making The Turn

Steer the car earlier than it feels natural to. Steering too late (under-steering) will make the car hit the outer wall, and obviously, steering the car too early (over-steering) will either make your car hit the inner wall or make your car pointing backwards.

Drifting

Because of the loose gravel in most of the rally games, steering your car the normal way will make your car over-steer. Drifting works very well on loose gravel. To drift, simply steer your car all the way towards the turn and when the car is facing inwards, point the front wheels (by steering) straight ahead. This will bring your car straight again.

Don't panic!

When some people see their car steering a little bit off course they usually steer all the way to the other side. Don't do this! This will only make you lose control. Instead steer your car only a little bit the other way round and wait till the car is straight on course again.

This is just a funny tip.
When u race tracks with very sharp turns, and u have an opponent or two infront of u, don`t brake before the turn, just aim at the back of the car infront of u (in the sharpest turns) and slam into it in as high speed as possible. Then the car should fly off the road and use some time to get back on. This can happen with u as well, but the feeling of seeing an opponent driving like a dizzy drunk is just extraordinairy and is well worth the time that u may lose...

The first thing you should do when starting a career mode in GT3, is to go straight to the licence centre and try to get all golds on the Domestic B licence. Apart from the skills, you will also get a Mazda MX-5 (Miata) This is identical to the one you can afford from the dealer but you get 18,000 credits to spend on it. This makes the first few events a breeze,

If you can't be bothered doing that, two decent cars you can get are the
Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT Apex which has 128 hp but you will have enough money left over to buy a Semi Racing muffler/air filter and a racing chip which will get you over 135 hp. The other is the Chrysler PT Cruiser which has a lot of hp for the money and drives quite well.

In buying your next car, get something which will be able to be tuned hard but for a reasonable price. I suggest either a Nissan Skyline, Mitsubishi 3000GT, Chevrolet Corvette Z06 or a Toyota Supra. These cars have a lot of hp but can also be tuned up to around 700.

Once you have a decent car, you should go for the S licence, widen the gears on your fastest car and try the 'Like the Wind' race in the Professional League. This is a 20 lap race of test course and winning it gives you a lot of cash but also a Mazda 787B, one of the best non-fantasy cars in the game.

Race the oval tracks over and over to make some easy and fast cash.

Keep It Lubed:
In gran turismo 3 make sure to change your oil very often. If you don't than the mileage will get to your car and stop dropping off horse power. thanks, game cat

License Car Tip:
Turning on all of the License codes will NOT unlock vehicles. License Cars can be unlocked if all of the License codes are on and you're able to get a gold in any of the tests. EXAMPLE: Activate all of the License B Gold codes and successfully complete License test B-1. If you complete test B-1 and receive a gold medal, you'll be awarded a bonus car.

Tiers Tiers & More Tiers:
There are more Tiers of tracks in arcade mode. If you beat tier 3 you get tier 4 and if you beat tier 4 you get tier5 and I f you beat tier 5 you get the last one tier 6. And now you can select goal in the clear status menu all the way at the bottom.

*Test Course HP:
I'm not sure if it's true for all the cars, but it worked for me when I noticed my car would have one extra HP after every run. (Max Speed) It didn't work for the 400 or 1000. I tried it with another of my cars and it took it down, maybe because it was older and had more miles on it. The car this happened with was a V8 Vantage. I topped it out at 992, then i noticed it go up one each time, and now it's running 1000. Now I'm not 100% sure of this, but try it out and see if anyone else can verify this.

F090/s (Indy Car):
An easy way to get this car is to use the Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak on the Super Speedway (Enduance) and never pit in.

Getting the Prize Car You Want: (only works when race series has multiple prises)
Save your game before the last race in a championship series that you have at LEAST an 11-point lead over the second place opponent. Start the final race and quit out of it. Since you had an 11-point lead over the closest opponent, you'll still win the race series and get the bonus car. If the prize car you're awarded is the one you want, then keep it and move on. If it's not the car you want, then go back and Load your save game from before the last race and repeat the process until you get the prize car that you were hoping for.

Escudo -More Speed:
If you buy a Suzuki Escudo it will have about 980 HP. Install a Stage 4 turbo in it and it will have about 1800 HP! Now! Go to "MY HOME" and "Run/Settings"
Go to settings. Change the gearing angle to WIDE. Now your Escudo will go like 450 km/h!!!
Unlock the Almighty Escudo: Pikes Peak Version!:
You had to remember this car from GT2, and now, it makes it's debut once again in GT3, only faster with a bigger engine. All you have to do is beat EVERY rally event (obtaining first place in each.) This can be done only after the rally license is obtained. It may seem difficult, but WELL worth the wait! With about 1800 hp and top speeds around 292 mph!! (thats 472 kmh) you can destroy the competition.

Here is a Quick Way to Get $350,000:
Enter the European Championship in Ameateur league. Win the first Four races, racking up $30,000 ($7,500 per win). Save. Skip the last race (you MUST win the first four). Collect the $20,000 for winning. For winning the championship, the game will randomly give you a car. If you are lucky, you win the Gillet Vertigo Race Car. If you don't, load the game from after the fourth race and try again until you get the Vertigo. The Vertigo is a decent S-rank car that sells for $300,000. Do this three times, and you can afford the Suzuki ESCUDO Pikes Peak Version, Viper GTSR Team Oreca, or the Corvette C5R (I suggest the ESCUDO).

Max Out Your Gears in an Automatic:
Whenever your car reaches the end of the gear hold R2 and the gear will be extended until R2 is let go or the car starts to decelerate it will give you an extra acceleration boost when needed. This really helps in the license test.

Dodge That Viper:
To get a rocket on wheels, simply buy a Dodge Viper GTS for around £80,000, bung an NA stage 3 kit on it, give it every possible upgrade, change the gear ratios to Auto Setting 48; AND BANG!!! You got a bullet on wheels. Trust me, you can get 450km/h out of it on the test track, AND IT'S STILL ACCELERATING !!! See it?? IT'S THERE !!!! The one of the fastest cars in the game.

Make Your Own:
Rally cars too expensive? Buy a car (most work with this cheat) and give it fully customised supension, dirt/racing tires and some engine and turbo upgrades and ...VOILA! A new sweet little rally car! PS 4WD cars work best!

Win Polyphony 001 Formula 1 Car:
Do the tokyo endurance event (i used the Gillet car). when u win you have a choice of 4 cars and one of them is the polyphony 001 formula 1 car. You might not get it first time but its well worth the wait. It goes insanely fast (faster then any other car) and it handles brilliantly!

Win the F094s:
Win the Tokyo Endurance race. The game will show 4 prize cars. I won the F094s. Not sure of any others.

Easy Tuning:
When you win a car, go to the tune shop and tune it so it can get more HP. For some cars the amount varies. I won a Camaro Race Car and it had 544Hp when I won it. Then I added a stage 2 NA ( which cost only 14,500cr! ) and it now has 993HP! Cheap and excellent results.

Make the Escudo Pikes Peak Version Top at 299.5 mph:
Put the gear settings to wide. After you have done this fiddle around with the final gear. Making the gears longer. If you do this correctly you can top at 299.5 mph, and smoke the competition. I'll update this further if I can top it at 300 mph or higher.

Wheelie and Max Speed:
The escudo has 1824 horsepower when fully upgraded. I have reached a speed of 958.7 miles per hour. To do this set the final gear at zero then take the auto set up down and back up. (when this is done it increases the gear by about twice as much) Take the final back up but not too much in order to get speed faster. Take the downforce front min. and back max. spring rate min on front and back and same with ride height. The TCS and the ATC should be zero. Your car will pull a wheelie and you will hall balls.

Select a Random Bonus Car:
First when you get the bonus cash for a chapionship race or an endurance, hit ok. Before the selector circles around use it like a storm stopper: It only works the first time it circles around, not second or third. It will circle a few more times before stopping on your bonus car.

Get that Dodge Viper Concept without Golds in the Super License Tests!:
If you race the "Gran Turismo Allstars" series in Professional Mode, one of your 4 choices of a prize car will be the Viper Concept. Don't get frustrated if you don't get it for a while, it took me about 5 tries to get it. Happy Racing!

For regular turning, you start turning on the outside, aiming for the inside edge, and you will end up onbthe outside edge.

For late turning, you start turning on the outside edge and instead of aiming for the inside edge, you stay on the outside edge and make a sharp turn towards the inside. You will then be on the inside edge.

Explore the track the first lap, and if you see hairpins and such, then this is what you do: You keep on the outside wall. #1)Get a Mustang SVT Cobra and equip it with dirt tires and super slick tires and Turbo kit stage 1-2.

#2)Then get the IA license and race at super speedway endurance.It is 100 laps and the mustang will be faster than the others.

#3)Pit every 10-20 laps and take breaks if needed.

#4)When you win you will get 200,000credits and a car.Try and get the Polyphony 002. It is a F090/S. Then keep racing with it on the superspeedway endurance.

#5)After about 5 or 4 races,You will have 1,000,000credits and some good cars.

For this code you must have Transmission Full Racing installed on your car. Go to any track. Press "Settings". Then click on settings again. Find where it shows the gear ratios. Set the car's gear's to wide. Then move gears 1-6 to the left. Then test out the car. Your car should reach a higher speed than when you tested it out before.

(If you mess up in the game or not do a hint or tip on it to get more money here is what you do.)First of all you need 1 or 2 memory cards, then on 1 of the memory cards have a really good car fully tuned. Then put the good memory card in the 2nd slot after you start. Then buy a car, Then save up like 50k then click load garage. You only have to buy the retail price of the car, not all the tune-ups. Then you beat the stuff you messed up on. (Switch the memory card back to slot 1 to save)
