Guitar Hero 3 Codes

To enter cheats, from the main menu go to Options -> Cheats -> Enter New Cheat. For each code, you have to strum while you press the given buttons. Notes in parenthesis are held together while you strum.
i.e. (RY) denotes Red and Yellow buttons held and strummed once

Also, there are five levels of hyperspeed in GH3. Level 5 is INSANITY to say the least. To switch between them, you press the green button while the code is highlighted after you enter it.

All codes except Unlock All Songs may be turned off directly from the cheat menu by pressing the green button.

To unlock this song, you must defeat Lou in the final guitar battle on any difficulty. The song will then be unlocked for all difficulties in the bonus song list.

Guitar Hero III Glitches

Fight Lou in expert mode with Easy mode notes.

After getting to the end of the game in expert mode with nothing left to do but fight Lou, Start the battle with him and shortly after the first riff`s, Strum without holding any fret`s untill you lose, At the game over screen go to "Tutorial"
After that, Pick the Tutorial for Guitar Battle, And play through it untill you get the message "Lesson Complete"
As soon as the next Fret-Board appears. Pause it and go to exit, This will take you back to the lesson menu, From there hit the red button which will take you back to the list of song`s, The fight with Lou will be highlighted, Pick the song and your done! Lou`s notechart and player will be set to Easy mode! Note: Your notechart will stay in expert mode, But his will be changed to Easy.

Cheat: No Failure

To make it impossible to fail a song, insert the following code in the in-game cheats menu. Keep in mind that this cheat will not work in Career Mode: Green & Red, Blue, Green & Red, Green & Yellow, Blue, Green & Yellow, Red & Yellow, Orange, Red & Yellow, Green & Yellow, Yellow, Green & Yellow, Green & Red.

Cheat: Easy Boss Glitch

Unconfirmed: This cheat requires two Xbox Live profiles, so make an additional profile if you don't have one at the ready. Sign into this alternate profile in Guitar Hero III. In the Cheats Menu, enter these codes: (GR) (GY) (YB) (RB) (BO) (YO) (RY) (RB) and then (GR) (B) (GR) (GY) (B) (GY) (RY) (O) (RY) (GY) (Y) (GY) (GR). Those codes are for No Failure and Easy Expert.

Head to Quick Play mode and play "Slow Ride" briefly. After the first handful of notes, you'll see a long orange note. At this, press Start and go to the main menu. Sign out of your alternate profile and sign into your primary profile. Head to career mode and go to the boss you want to beat. The boss will glitch out and miss notes, failing the match.

Hint: Battle Lou in Easy Mode

To battle with Lou using Easy Mode notes, try the following. When the battle with Lou begins (on Expert Mode), strum without holding any frets down. When you lose, select the Tutorial option at the Game Over menu. Do the Guitar Battle Tutorial and play through it in its entirety. After the "Lesson Complete" message appears on-screen and the next fret board appears, pause the game and exit. This will bring you back to the Lessons menu.

From here, press the red button, which will bring you back to the list of songs. The battle with Lou should be highlighted. Choose the song, and Lou's note chart will be set to Easy Mode now. Your note chart will still be in Expert Mode, but Lou's will be in easy mode.
