God of War II Unlockable: Various

* Challenge of the Titans: Complete the game to unlock this seven room challenge.
* Arena of the Fates: Earn the rank of Titan in Challenge Mode to unlock.
* Titan Mode: Complete the game to unlock this harder difficulty.
* Urns of Power: Complete the game to employ in play (you find 4 of the 6 through your adventure; the last two you must earn through high ranks in the challenges).

God of War II Unlockable: Bonus Costumes

There are seven bonus costumes to unlock.

* Costume 1 // Complete the game on any difficulty.
* Costume 2 // Complete the game on any difficulty.
* Costume 3 // Complete the game on God Mode.
* Costume 4 // Complete the game on Titan mode.
* Costume 5 // Complete the game on Titan mode.
* Costume 6 // Collect 20 Cyclops Eyes in the main game.

You must enter L1, L2, L3, CIRCLE and SQUARE all at once.

God of War II Hint: The Urn of Gaia
Its located on the Colossus level just before you see the Colossus' eye through the window. Its at the first block moving puzzle where there are a series of rooms and metal doors you need to open. First you have to destroy the statue on top of the moving block. Then when you get into the next room where there are doors on all sides of you, go into the room on your right while pushing the block. Push it all the way down the hall and then jump on top of it to access 2 blood chests and the urn of gaia.

God of War II Hint: Amulet of the Fates / Outer Garden Battle
Use this tip to evade damage while dealing it in the Outer Gardens battle! When you reach the scene with the Fate Statue and behead it, in the Outer Gardens several wraiths and bats will attack.

Bypass all of them without attacking, evade damage, and with a powerful combo (or Rage enabled) smash them AND the statue head blocking the exit. The head will disappear leaving your path free and the enemies cannot follow Kratos.

If you've been damaged while escaping, heal with the chest on the other side. If you don't want to continue fighting the enemies, leave them behind. If you still want blood and gore, return to the "bridge" side of the door. Cross into the actual Gardens room and you're free game, so be aware. Make powerful short-range attacks and most of the enemies won't get any hits through to you.

Note: A wraith may attempt it's underground attack from the other side of the door, but you can still evade it and it will return to the other side of the doorway while you remain safe.

(You can also grab it when it comes out of that attack and beat it silly before sending it back through the door to the garden.)

God of War II Hint: The Urn of Olympus
After you obtain the Spear of Destiny, grab the Statue of Fate (time slowing); and push it down the stairs. From there, push it to the edge of the water from the pathway you came. After you've done that, get to the other side of the path by running and swimming through the water.

Once you are on the other side, slow time (L1 + R1), but make sure you're in a straight line from the statue so you can activate the slowing of the time. Once the time is slowed, hurry up and backtrack to the large button floor, cross the water that is in the way by grappling it using R1.

When you are to the button floor, head through the door and gather your treasures, of that including the Urn of Olympus.

Achieve a 999,999 hit combo to reveal a hidden website.

By achieving a 999,999 hit combo, the player will see a secret web site url appear onscreen. www.islandofrhodes.org.

As the player's hit combo climbs, the prompts "Your destiny awaits", "The secret is near", and "Almost there" appear just above your Rage of the Titans meter.

Bonus Play

To Start a new game with all Weapons/Magic at the levels you completed the game at, simply save your game and start a new game. Choose the Bonus Play option and you can start a new game with all your weapons/Magic at the levels you beat the game with. You can only choose the Bonus Play option on the difficulty you've beaten the game on. They will be marked by a sword on the New Game screen.

Sex Mini-Game

A little while into the area of Rhodes, the first area of the game, you will drop down into a bath-house/sauna type area. Instead of continuing and diving down, jump out of the water onto the area around it. There should be two screens which are breakable. Behind one of the screens are two topless women. By walking up to them and pressing the circle button, you initiate the sex mini-game in which you complete a series of button presses. When you have won, you will receive a large amount of red orbs and some green orbs. You can only receive the orbs once, however you may play the mini-game as much as you'd like.

Hall of Atropos - Upper Level - Do this AFTER the fight with Perseus. You are outside after defeating Perseus. Go back inside through the upper left door. Once in the chamber jump up on the ledge against the back wall but don't go out on the balcony just yet. To the left of the exit, in a dark area where it's pretty difficult to see there is a small star on the ground. Stand on the star and hit R1 a few times (though once is enough). Now run outside on the balcony. Around the corner to your right and under a window there is a second star on the ground. Stand on the star and hit R1 a few times (again, once is enough). Now keep going and quickly grapple across to get over the other side of the roof. Run around the corner and go all the way to the pressure switch, stand on the switch to activate the roots walkway. When the roots are nearly fully extended slow time with the Amulet of the Fates and quickly run across. Once on the center platform you will see the third star on the ground by the first tree. Hit R1 and the camera angle will shift and the following message will appear in the sky: "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds." As the message slowly appears in the sky a few thousand red orbs will also be given to you by the tree you are standing next to. The quote in the sky is from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita. It was later famously quoted by the American physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer to describe the first nuclear bomb test on July 16, 1945
